Hello! Not only should you Smile, because you’ve got this, but also because it’s Friday!!! Welcome to the weekend.
Today I’m sharing the card I made for Pinkfresh Studio’s January Challenge. This month’s challenge is a year in review, where we can pick any of the challenge themes from 2019.

I choose April’s theme, Frames and Shakers.

I know, another watercolor panel. At least this one isn’t purple :). I started by stamping the Floral Frame from Pinkfresh Studio (this was a limited edition stamp in collaboration with Simon Says Stamps for Stamptember 2019). I used Versamark ink to stamp the image, and heat embossed it with Hero Arts Silver embossing powder. Then, I added Catherine Wheel Nuvo Shimmer Powder and sprayed with water. I tried to keep the color concetrated where the images are, and leave the center open.

I added the sentiment from the set to the center of the card with more Versamark and Silver embossing powder. Using fun foam, I added the watercolor panel to a Gina K Design Passionate Pink card base. I finished off the card with Sherbert Shimmer Nuvo Glitter drops and Limoncelleo Nuvo Jewel drops.
There isn’t as much shimmer on this card, but this color combo (from the shimmer powder) is one of my favorites. I love the bright pink, yellow and oranges.
Thanks for stopping by!
Nicole
