Hello, today I have more watercolor. Sorry (not really). It’s such a quick technique, and I love the look. I hope you can wait out my obsession!
Today’s card was inspired by Simon Says Stamp’s January IG Challenge. This month the theme is Shiny and New. While I had Concord & 9th’s Sew Happy Hearts out, I made another panel. This one is Shiny too!

I started this panel by stamping the postal stamp image with Versmark ink and embossing it with Wow Opaque White Detail embossing powder. Next, I sprinkled Cherry Blossom Nuvo Shimmer Powder over the image and spritzed it with water.

While the panel was drying, I die cut the sentiment from the same set from Simon Says Stamp’s Magenta glitter cardstock. I also cut it from some Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock 3 times, and layered them together with liquid adhesive. Once the panel was dry, and the card assembled, I added the watercolor panel to a Neenah card base.
This was another card that I attempted to add embellishments too, but felt it was too much. The Shimmer powder really shines, no pun intended.
Thanks for stopping by!
Nicole
Beautiful, Nicole! Don’t apologize (even though you didn’t, really, 😃) for more watercolor. I got my hands on some watercolor paint and brushes last August and I have been obsessed as well! Most of my cards have watercolor on them somewhere!
