Hello weekend! I had planned on using my Friday post to share what I have been coloring for The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge, but I’ve been sharing those images on Instagram, and there really wasn’t a lot to write about. So, instead I’ll share a card I made using one of the images I colored.
This is the only card I’ve made so far, but my goal this month is not to color images for cards, but to practice. However, I ordered this adorable set from Pinkfresh Studios, and I couldn’t resit it. Not only is the image super cute, but it has some great sentiments.
I started out by stamping the image from Happy Hugs with Hero Arts Intense Black ink, and colored it with Copic markers. I took the background image and stamped it with Gina K Design’s In the Navy ink on a panel of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.
The adorable sentiment, The Snuggle is Real, was stamped with more In the Navy ink, and the colored image was added with foam tape. I added the panel to In the Navy cardstock and added Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal drops to the eyes and noses. Finally, I added some clear Wink of Stella to the background and knit hat.
Oh, and I added a Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock panel to the inside, and stamped this sentiment in more In the Navy.
I plan on playing with this set more, just to use the awesome sentiments.
