Welcome back! Today’s post is a quick one. I’m sharing the card I made as home work for the Online Card Class Spring Card Camp 2, day 3 Dry Embossing With Stencils. The technique was from class, but I also used Hero Arts products, for the Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #7, Essential Kindess.
I’ve been playing a lot with Holographic Foil cardstock and wondered what drying embossing with a stencil would look like on Holographic Foil cardstock. Turns out it looks pretty cool!
I used Hero Arts Ornate Flower stencil on some Erin Lee Creative Holographic cardstock. For the sentiment I die cut the Thank You from the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero March 2018 kit, from Hero Arts Pitch Black cardstock three times and layered them together (I added double sided adhesive to the cardstock before die cutting).
I die cut a circle from vellum to anchor the sentiment, then added the sentiment. Using liquid adhesive, I added the vellum circle to the holographic panel. Using fun foam, I added the panel to a Neenah Classic Crest Solar white cardstock. I finished off the card with Studio Katia silver gems.
