Thank You-Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Hey guys! Sorry, I took a little break. I got really sick with Kidney issues, and work got ridiculously busy. Honestly, I am struggling with everything going on. My work load at my day job is insane. When the weekend rolls around, I just want to have fun. Sometimes writing blog post and making cards for challenges feels like a second job. I need to figure out what I want to do. Right now I am going to play it by ear. I do still love writing AND especially making cards. I just need to fit it all together.

So, now that we have all of the heavy out of the way, let’s get to the fun stuff. Today I’m sharing a card I made for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, Dies and/or punches. The product focus is Paper Rose Products. I don’t have any Paper Rose items. But, I had this idea for a fun card using Concord and 9th products, and it fits the challenge.

I started out die cutting some of the flowers and leaves from Concord and 9th Fine Line Florals using Erin Lee Creative Rainbow Holographic cardstock. I stamped the matching images on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock using Olive, Ultraviolet, and Tide Blue Inks, along with three die cuts from Neenah, then layered the die cuts.

I added the die cuts to a panel I created with Concord and 9th Shiplap background. The sentiment is from Fine Line Florals, stamped on Hero Arts Pitch black cardstock with Versamark ink and embossed with White powder. I finished off the card with Gina K Design Soft Stone card base.

I wish these pictures came out better. The shine is insane and the colors are so vivid. Thanks cloudy and rainy South Florida.

Thanks for sticking out my recovery, and staying with me. I appreciate your support!
