Hello, and welcome to the weekend. Although, I guess for a lot of us, the weeks kinda blend together now. No school, working from home… it’s weird.
Today’s distraction features the card I made for the March Inspiration Challenge from Altenew.

Do you remember what I said in my last blog? That I wanted something to color from Altenew? Well, I grabbed a new to me set, Remember This, and also grabbed the Classy Stripes Stencil.
I stamped the images with a Copic friendly ink, then colored them with Copic markers and die cut them. I added the blue strips for the background with the stencil and Altenew Caribbean Sky ink.

To anchor the flowers, I die cut one of the shapes from Altenew Layered Geometric shapes from vellum, and the outline from Neenah three times. I adhered them together with liquid adhesive, then added the flowers. I used foam tape under the flowers, around the frame.
The sentiment is from Altenew Sentiments Strips, stamped with Versamark Clair Nocturne ink on a scrap piece of Neenah. I heat embossed the sentiment with Gina K Design Clear Embossing powder, and added it to the panel with foam tape. The card base is MFT, from a cardstock sampler.
I really like the delicate look of this stamp set. It was fun to color, but it also has stamps that fill in the images.
I hope you have a good weekend, and find some moments of fun and escape.
Thanks for stopping by,
Nicole
