Welcome back! I hope this week is treating you well. I’m looking forward to this weekend, as I’m taking a few days off. It’s been crazy at work!
Today I have a quick post, sharing the card I made for Pinkfresh Studio’s February challenge. This month, the theme is Love & Hearts.
I made this card a few weekends ago, when I was struggling with all the studio redecorating ideas in my head. This was the only card I was able to make all of that weekend.

This panel was another one that had been hanging around for awhile. I made this one by spraying Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide ink on a panel of Distress Watercolor cardstock. To make this card I die cut the sentiment using Pinkfresh Studio’s Adore Alpha dies. I die cut the same letters from Concord & 9th’s Pearl glitter cardstock, and from MFT Tickled Pink four times. I layered the pink die cuts under the inked ones, using liquid adhesive. I used the letter outlines from the glitter cardstock.

I added tape to the back of the card panel, and laid in the glitter outlines. Next, I added the inked, layered pieces. I trimmed down the panel, and added thin strips of the glitter cardstock to the top and bottom of the panel.
At this point, I thought the card was super plan. I went through all of my Pinkfresh Studio sets, and came across this XO die. I die cut it from some Simon Says Stamp Magenta Glitter cardstock. Using liquid adhesive, I added the die cut to the card panel. I finished off the card with a Neenah card base.
This card is a little plan still, but I feel that the ink splatters from the spray, along with the glitter, adds just enough interest. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!
Nicole
It’s super cute, Nicole, and I think adding the “XO” die it was the perfect touch to set it apart! Nice job! I love Pinkfresh”!
