I’m So Happy I Found You-MFT Sketch Challenge

Hey there, I’m so happy you found me! I’m so humbled that I get to share the cards I make with you, and I really appreciate you taking the time to visit.

Today I’m sharing the card I made for MFT Sketch Challenge 475. Here is the sketch.

As usual, I was pretty literal with this sketch. Here is my card:

I grabbed the You’re Amazing stamp set during a sale late last year, and had it on my desk to use. I decided this sketch gave me the chance. I just had to pick a background. My original idea was to use the blue shimmer watercolor panel, using white cardstock for the bottom, triangle like piece. I thought that was a bit weird though, so I added some purple shimmer watercolor instead. Its difficult to see in pictures, but I captured it below.

Back to the design. Once the watercolor panel dried, I die cut the circle from MFT’s Circle Shaker Window and Frame die set. Then I stamped the sentiment from the You’re Amazing set with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Wow Opaque White detail powder. Next, I added the circle shaker window, using liquid adhesive.

While the glue was drying, I created the background for the maze piece. I cut the heart at the center of the maze from the scrap circle, and glued it to some white cardstock with liquid glue. The tiny heart die is part of the Circle Shaker die set.

I placed the purple maze over the heart, and dropped in the little ball. Then I added liquid adhesive to the back of my watercolor card panel, and laid it over the white cardstock.

The card base is Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, and I added the watercolor panel with a tape runner. Check out all that shimmer!! And, I love the texture of the watercolor cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by!
