Hey there! I hope this week is treating you well. I’m rocking through my day job, much like everyone else I’m sure. I’m getting good vibes from 2020 so far, so I soaking that in.
Today I am sharing the card I made for this week’s Simon Says Stamp’s Wednesday Challenge. This week the theme is Fun With Florals, with Paper Rose Products as the focus. I don’t have any Paper Rose Products, but I have Floral products!
This card features another watercolor panel (sorry, not sorry). I think this one is my favorite.
I made this panel by stamping this gorgeous image from Neat and Tangled’s Beautiful As You (a limited edition collaboration with SSS from Stamptember) with Versamark ink on Distress Watercolor cardstock, and embossed with Hero Arts Silver embossing powder. Then I added Lilac Waterfall Nuvo Shimmer Powder and sprayed it with water. Oh, I did use Post It Tape to mask off the bottom part of the panel before I added the powder.
I trimmed down the panel for a card, and added the sentiment (stamped with Versamark and embossed with silver powder). Look at all of that shimmer!!!
The card base is Gina K Design Soft Stone, and I added the panel with fun foam. I wish you could see this card in person. The color trapped in the heat embossed panel is so vivid in spots. And, the shimmer is out of this world! So pretty! This floral image is so pretty as well. It’s my first time playing with it. I can’t wait to color it, the more traditional way.
