All of Me Loves All of You-MFT Challenges

Welcome back! I’m so excited to have you here, it means a lot to me. Today I’m sharing the card I made for MFT’s challenges this week. I say challenges, because I’m hitting both the Sketch Challenge AND the Color Challenge.

I don’t normally participate in MFT’s Color Challenge, but I was going to skip the Sketch Challenge this week, and was looking for something to take it’s place. I saw the feature image for the color challenge and decided to take a look. As I started to put the design together for the card, I realized I could make it work for both challenges.

I started out by cutting the hearts from Straight From the Heart from Electric Red, Tickled Pink and Grout Gray Red cardstock, with the arrows from Brushed Silver cardstock. I was originally going to use the gray hearts as shadows, but then didn’t like the look. Thats when I switched to the sketch for the design.

I die cut the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frame from Gravel Gray cardstock and adhered it to a Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card panel with liquid adhesive. I also cut the fishtail sentiment strips from Gravel Gray, using the sentiment strips from Vertical Hearts in a Row.

I added the Tickled Pink and Grout Gray hearts to the card with liquid adhesive, then the Electric Red heart with foam tape. I stamped the sentiments from From The Heart on the sentiment strips with Versamark ink, and heat embossed it with Wow Opaque White Detail powder. I added the strips with foam tape. I added the card panel to a Grout Gray card base with fun foam.

The look is a little abstract, but I like how it turned out. A bit modern and different.

Thanks for stopping by!
