Hello there! Welcome back. The holiday’s are fast approaching, so todays post is a quick one. I’m sharing the card I made for MFT’s Sketch Challenge 467.

This sketch was a tough one. I almost skipped it. But, I was able to work out a plan.

I’ve had the background panel made with MFT’s Christmas Background stamp and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink floating around my studio for a bit. I decided it would make a good background for the card front. It was created by stamping the background stamp with Versamark ink, and heat embossed with Wow Opaque White embossing powder. Then I blended the ink over the embossing. To finish the background off, I wiped the ink off of the embossing.
Next, I created the circle panel. I decided to use the images from MFT’s My Secrete Santa that I had previously colored with Copic markers. I tucked the little girl, little boy and Santa behind the openings using a tape runner.

I added foam tape to the back of the circle panel, and added it to the background. I stamped the sentiment from MFT’s Snow Globe Sentiments, and added the panel to a Neenah card base. Oh, and I added Glossy Accents to the ornament on the tree.
Sorry for the quick post, but lot’s going on at home. I go on vacation Wednesday, and this vacation won’t be wasted recovering from surgery!
Thanks for stopping by!
