Wahoo, it’s Friday! AND, the last weekend before Thanksgiving. I know this coming weekend is going to be hectic for me. I’m having my gallbladder removed on Monday, so I’ll be pre-cooking as much as I can, cleaning and trying to get ahead on blog post. I know you guys will understand if I miss a day or two, but there is some really cool stuff coming up. I got my hands on some really fun stuff from Scrapbook.com, and I need to share some of it next week.
For today’s post, I’m sharing the card I made for this month’s Altenew Inspiration Challenge. The inspiration photo is so pretty!

Here is my card.

I started out by stamping the flower and leaves from Altenew’s Ornamental Flower using a bunch of Altenew ink (Razzleberry, Rubellite, Pinkalicious, Pink Diamond, Persian Blue, Caribbean Sky, Arctic, Fayeded Leaf, Evergreen, Forest Glades, Teal Cave, Aqualicious and Dew Drops). I was hoping to bring in the lighter pink/peach color with the inside of the flowers, but it didn’t look right. Instead, I used a card base made with Gina K Design Barely There. I covered it with some Hero Arts shimmer spray.

I die cut the Geometric Frames from Altenew out of some shimmer cardstock, and added them to the card base. Then I added the leaves and flowers with liquid adhesive and foam tape. The sentiment is from Altenew’s Sentiment Strips, stamped on a fishtail banner from more Barely There with Versamark ink. I heat embossed the sentiment with some Hero Arts Gold embossing powder, and added it to the card with foam tape. I finished off the card with some Studio Katia gold glitter gems.
Another shimmery card. I can’t help myself lol.
Thanks for stopping by!
