Welcome back! Today, I’m sharing the card I made for this week’s Simon Says Stamp’s Wednesday Challenge. This week, the theme is Thank You/Thanksgiving, and the featured product is Hero Arts.
I decided to go with a winter themed thank you card, using the My Monthly Hero set from November 2017. This kit had some large images with matching tag dies.
I started with the snow flake tag first, stamped the image on Hero Arts Mist cardstock with Delicata Silver ink. I also die cut the snow flake shape from a shimmery gold paper I had left over from a different MMH kit. I layered the two together, using foam tape.
For the background, I took a Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card base and stamped the snow flake image twice with Altenew Aqualicious ink. Then, I sprayed some Hero Arts White/Gold shimmer spray.
Once the spray was dry, I added my layered snow flake with more foam tape. I stamped the sentiment, from MMH March 2018 kit on a scrap of Neenah, with more Aqualicious ink. I added the sentiment to the snow flake with more foam tape.
There is so much shine to this card, these photos don’t do it justice. I also went a little shimmer spray crazy this past weekend (wait until you see Fridays card).
