Happy half way to the weekend! I think you are amazing, and I made a card to prove it! I’m sharing the card I made for Altenew’s October Inspiration challenge. I had a lot of fun, thinking this one up, it came together quickly. Let’s look at the inspiration image first.

What a pretty picture. Laurie Willison used three Altenew ink colors on her card, and I thought I would use them as well. I got lucky, and had some Sunflower from the Sunflower and Daisy set already stamped with these colors. Well, the yellow and pink anyway.

I incorporated the Sapphire by blending it over the Broken Chevron stencil on some Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. Then I add the pink and yellow sunflowers. The pink flower was stamped with the Rose Petal set, the yellow with Summer Afternoon set, and the leaves with Grass Fields.

Using foam tape, I added the flowers and leaves to the stenciled background. The sentiment is from Sentiment Strips, added with Scor-Tape. The card base is Neenah.
This isn’t my normal style. I wouldn’t normally stencil this background in blue, but I think it looks great!
Thanks for stopping by,
Nicole
