You’d Stand Out in Any Crowd-Hero Arts

Hello! Boy, am I really glad it’s Friday. This has been the longest week ever!

I’m really excited to share today’s card with you. I finally found a reason and way to used one of my absolute favorite sentiment sets. Once again I am getting a bit ahead of myself.

Today’s card was inspired by the A Blog Named Hero’s August challenge. This month, the challenge is Stretch Your Stamps.

I really struggled with this theme, trying to figure out how to craft for this theme, with the sets I have. I actually went to some of blog’s design team pages to help understand what to do. Then, I started flipping through my Hero Arts sets. The idea hit me when I came across Weird and Wonderful.

I started with a panel of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. I trimmed it down with one of Hero Arts Rounded Rectangle Infinity dies. Then I placed the panel in my MISTI, and worked out the layout of the sentients. I stamped almost all the sentiments from Weird and Wonderful, and one from Make it Personal, in Delicata Shimmery Silver ink. I left one sentiment off, and went back to stamp it in Hero Arts Teal Topaz.

The background was pretty sparse, so I grabbed two Copic markers and added dots to the open spaces. The card base is Gina K Tranquil Teal. I added the panel to the card base with fun foam.

As I mentioned, this is one of my favorite sentiment sets. I love the messages. I like being weird, and not fitting in.

Thanks for stopping by!
