Monday, my cruel nemesis, why do you have to kill the weekend? Sorry, just feeling a bit dramatic today. I need some more weekend. I have a blue card to share with you, to go with my blue mood.
Today’s card is for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge. This week the challenge is Midsummer Blues, and the products to use are Avery Elle. I’m in luck as one of the first sets I purchased was from Avery Elle.
I went clean and simple with this challenge.
I started with a panel of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. I stamped the images from Avery Elle’s Balloon Giraffe and Party Animal all over. It didn’t turn out how I expected, so I die cut one of the images (one stamped with Altenew Ultramarine ink). Grabbing another panel of Neenah, I trimmed it down, using Hero Arts Infinity Rectangles. I masked off a strip using Post It tape, and blended Altenew Iceberg ink.
I stamped the sentiment from Party Animal under the giraffe, and some of the stars as well. Then, I added the giraffe with foam tape. The card base is Gina K Blue Raspberry. I finished off the card with clear Wink of Stella.
Clean, simple and another masculine card for my stash.
