Happy Monday and welcome back! I hope you had a nice holidayish weekend. Today I’m sharing a quick post with the card I made for this week’s MFT Sketch challenge.

Of course, I took the sketch literally.

I started out die cutting the snowflake from MFT’s Filled With Joy set from MFT’s Silver Sparkle, Cornflower Sparkle and Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust cardstock. I also die cut the word Joy from more Silver Sparkle cardstock. Then, I took a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, and trimmed it down with MFT Mod Rectangle die.

I blended some light blue ink where I planned to place the snowflakes, using Taylored Expressions ink blending brushes. I cut a wide strip of vellum and added the Joy die cut to it. I also stamped the sentiment from Filled With Joy with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Hero Arts Silver embossing powder.
I added the snowflakes with liquid adhesive, and put some foam tape behind the joy die cut. Next, I wrapped the vellum around the card panel and adhered it to the back of the panel with Be Creative tape. I finished off the card with a Gina K Blue Raspberry card base.
I’m a bit proud of myself for getting a head start on my Christmas cards. If I keep this steady pace, I might be able to get all my Christmas cards done before Christmas this year! Have you started on your Christmas cards yet?
Thanks for stopping by!
