Happy Father’s Day- Simon Says Stamp Instagram Challenge

Hello, I’m so happy you stopped by! Today I’m sharing something new, the Simon Says Stamp Instagram Challenge. This challenge is new, Simon Started it this month. They set up a special instagram account for it.

This month the challenge is Summer Time Fun!

What’s more summer then the beach?

I stared out by stamping the water from the June 2018 My Monthly Hero kit with the three darkest colors from Altenew’s Lapis Lazuli set on a panel of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardsotock. Then I created the clouds using MFT’s Cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.

Next, I stamped the clouds from the MMH kit using Altenew’s Sliver Lake and Gray Denim. Then I added the birds from the kit using Altenew Jet Black ink.

I created a frame using Hero Arts Rectangle Nesting dies, embossing some, then cutting out a window. The sentiment is from Lawn Dawn’s Dad and Me, stamped on a strip of Neenah with Jet Black ink. I added the sentiment to the card with foam tape.

The card base and matching envelope are Gina K Design Blue Raspberry.

I think this is a great Father’s day card for an ocean lover. What do you think?
