Hello and welcome back! Today I am sharing some more of my foiling adventures! How about a foiled sentiment? What a fabulous idea!
Today’s foiled card is brought to you by the MFT Birthday Project Challenge-ROYGBIV. Since I don’t have a rainbow assortment of foil at the moment, we’ll use a rainbow background. I actually can’t think of a better backdrop for gold sequins foil!

I went the easy route, and used a rainbow alcohol ink panel I made ages ago. I trimmed it down to fit my card panel, and adhered it with Scor-Tape. I wasn’t great a trimming it straight, so the Gold Foil Bazzil cardstock at the bottom helps straighten it out.

For the sentiment, I die cut MFT’s Happy Birthday Script die from Deco Foil Toner Sheets. Then, I foiled the die cuts with Gina K Design’s Gold Sequins foil. The sparkle is out of this world! I layered the foiled die cuts with 3 white die cuts to give it dimension.
I added the sentiment to the card with liquid adhesive, then added the panel to a black card base (I put a white panel inside to provide a place to write a note). I finished off the card with some Rose Gold gems.
This card came together pretty quickly, it only has a few elements to it. But, it packs a punch, between the foiled sentiment and the alcohol ink background. I’m on a glitter and shimmer roll this week. Don’t worry, the card I share on Friday is much calmer.
Thanks for stopping by!
