Challenges · Making Cards

Winter Wishes

Happy hump day! I’m two days away from elven days off, and less then a week away from my daughter coming home! I’m a happy woman!

Today I’m sharing the card I made for Simon Says Stamp’s Wednesday challenge. However, I just realized I messed up. The challenge was to use Tim Holtz products, but we were supposed to, “wrap it up.” As in tags, gift wrap etc., not a card 😂

Well, let’s take a look at the card anyway.

Using MFT’s Snow Flurry Stencil, I spread Moonstone Nuvo Glitter Paste across a Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock panel. After the panel dried, I very lightly blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.

I stamped the sentiment from Concord and 9th’s Christmas Cheer on their Ribbon Banner, die cut from MFT’s Sno Cone cardstock, with Versamark Ink and embossed with Wow White powder. The snowflake is from MFT’s Filled With Joy Card Kit and was die cut from MFT’s Silver Sparkle cardstock.

The card base is more MFT’s Sno Cone cardstock, with a matching shimmery envelope.

Unfortunately there was little sunshine this weekend so the pictures aren’t great.

Thanks for stopping by!
