Thank You Altenew Challenge

Happy Friday! I’m so happy to be off today, and Monday too! I’m thinking about painting our living room… Or maybe making a bunch of cards!

Today I have a special card for you, the card I made for this’s month’s Altenew Challenge.

Here is my card. I wanted to do something different this month.

I started out by die cutting Spring Shower Cover die from Gina K Design’s Sweet Mango, Sweet Corn and Lucy Clover cardstock. I pieced together the different flowers with liquid adhesive. Using Concord & 9th’s Sketched Stripes with a Color Box Gold Pigment ink, and again with Delicata Golden Glitz ink. I stamped the sentiment from Altenew’s Build a Flower- Camellia with Versamark ink and heat embossed with gold.

Once the ink was dry, I added the flowers to the card panel with more liquid adhesive. I added the card panel to a Sweet Mango card base with fun foam. The envelope is matching Sweet Mango.

I’m trying to stretch myself out of my comfort zone with these challenges. It’s fun to try something different.
