Welcome back! Today I’m sharing the card I made for the September A Blog Named Hero challenge. This month the challenge was Monochromatic. This is a tough one for me, I like to mix up colors. But, of course I managed.
Here is my card:
I started out with a piece of Gina K Design’s Lovely Lavender cardstock and the new Floral Doily Bold Print stamp. I stamped the background with Versamark ink, and embossed with Wow Hologram Sparkle powder. Then I took the February 2018 MMH kit, stamped the bird image in HA Amethyst. I die cut the branch from the same Lovely Lavender cardstock.
I added the bird and branch to a large vellum circle, then added it to the card front. Some Lucy’s Cards Blackberry gems finish off the card front. I used Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock for the card base.
I wish you could see the opal like effect the Wow embossing powder has. It’s so pretty, and adds so much to the card!
