Challenges · Making Cards

Hello Sunshine!

Welcome back! Today I have a quick post featuring the card I made for MFT’s Card Design Superstar challenge. I decide to enter the Clean and Simple category again this year. I can’t even master Concord & 9ths Celebration die, how in the world could I make something innovative? And coloring? I’m not there yet.

I used one of my first MFT sets, Pretty Posies. I’m not sure what colores I used to stamp the flowers, I stamped and die cut them ages ago, saving them with the set. I can tell you that I stamped the leaves with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I added the images to a Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card base.

The sentiment is from MFT’s Full of Sunshine, stamped with MFT’s Extreme ink. Very clean and simple. I thought about blending some ink behind the flowers, before adhering them, but I couldn’t figure out what color. Besides, I’m going for extreme clean and simple lol.

I struggled with card making a little this weekend. I feel like I’m a one trick pony lately. But, either I don’t feel inspired, or its the same thing over and over again. Then the new Clearly Besotted/Simon Says Stamps collaboration arrived. That helped a bit. You’ll get a glimpse on Wednesday.

Thanks for stopping by!
