Paper Smooches January Challenge

Happy half way through the week! Today I am sharing the card I made for Paper Smooches’ January Challenge.

This month was an “Anything Goes,” challenge. Who does love free reign!

I made a really simple card for this challenge, using Chubby Chums.

This card is actually a 4bar sized card. I thought that was the perfect size for this little chickie! I took some Kraft cardstock from MFT, cut it down using MFT Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangles. Then, I blended Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink in the bottom right corner, to highlight the spot for my little chick. I spritzed the area with a mini mister, and with some Shimmer Spray. I dried it real quick with my heat gun, and stamped that cute sentiment from the stamp set with Altenew Jet Black ink.

Once I had the background prepared, I added my little chick using my  Xyron sticker maker. I had previously colored the chick with Copic markers.

Blue jewels from Lucy’s Cards Disco Ball pack finish off my little note card. Isn’t it super cute? This stamp set is adorable. I feel like I went old school this week, between this set and the Clearly Besotted set! And, the old school vibe continues with Friday’s post, so be sure to check back in!

Thanks for stopping by!
