Hero Arts October 2017 Unboxing

Hello! Today I wanted to give you a closer look at what was included in the October 2017 MMH kit. This kit is overflowing with Christmas! And some of the images are so tiny! They are perfect for snow globe looks.

Here is what is included in the kit:

► – 6″x8″ Clear Set

► – 10 Frame Cuts

► – 3 Fancy Dies

► – 6 sheets 5″x7″ decorative paper (3 assorted styles 2 of each)

► – 1 Thick Lacquer Pen

► – 1 Silver Embossing Powder 0.5 oz

► – 1 Unicorn white Ink Cube

Let’s unpack this bad boy!

Here are the stamps and dies. Sorry, they are tiny.

There are  ton of stamps, with a wide range of theme. Here is the patterned paper, embossing powder, ink cube and lacquer.

The glitter paper is gorgeous, but it sheds glitter. I’m not sure exactly what to do with the lacquer yet, but I’ll figure it out. I will say, I have been meaning to purchase a Hero Arts Unicorn White ink pad for ages. I was very excited to see one included in the kit!!

Unfortunately I was sick this past weekend and didn’t get to do very much with the kit. I did stamp all of the images that had matching dies, and a few others, and colored them.

The images are so small, I colored most of them with gel pens. I used Copics on the large areas of the houses, the green on the trees, the sleds and dogs, and where there is brown.

I did get to make one card (how could I not).

I used the snow globe window die from MFT, along with a Dome Shaker pouch. I ordered these items specifically to use with the Hero Arts kit. I used Broken China regular Distress Oxide ink for the background of the snow globe. The sentiment is heat embossed in white.

Brace yourself, there is going to be a whole lot of Christmas ahead on my blog. I’ll share a post with the products I have picked up, and how I am prepping to make over 50 handmade Christmas cards. You’ve already seen what I’ve done with the Concord and 9th products.

Thanks for stopping by!
